How to prevent stainless steel furniture from rusting
1. Do not place stainless steel furniture, TV cabinet series, or stainless steel furniture sets in damp places, and do not wipe stainless steel furniture with a damp cloth. When washing the surface of stainless steel folding chairs or sofas with soapy water or laundry detergent, try not to wet the metal plated parts. Otherwise, the stainless steel layer and painted parts are prone to peeling and rusting.
2. When yellow brown mesh spots are found on the surface of stainless steel parts, neutral engine oil can be used to wipe them frequently to prevent the mesh spots from continuing to expand and causing the stainless steel protective layer to degrade and rust.
3. Stainless steel furniture and TV cabinets that have already rusted should be promptly derusted, but do not use sandpaper to polish them. Small plated parts can be soaked overnight in a basin filled with engine oil, while large plated parts can be coated with a brush or cotton yarn dipped in engine oil on rusted areas. After a while, they can be wiped back a few times to remove rust.
4. Applying rust inhibitor on stainless steel parts can prevent rust.
